100% Happy Friends with Flair

For today's Friends with Flair over on the Unity blog
I thought I would share a how-to on a watercolor background with multiple uses.
First, stamp the ferris wheel on watercolor paper.

Ink up the clear handle with blue and green inks.
Then spritz with water.

Press into the pre-stamped watercolor paper.
 Let the watery ink run.
You can either let dry naturally or dry with heat gun.

I used the extra watery ink on the handle on a larger piece of watercolor paper,
then used it for a scrapbook layout.
So, the inking on this one was done first, and then stamped over the top, once dry.

Note that it will come out different every time,
depending on the amount of ink and water, and type of paper too.
So, I used one for a tag. Just glued it to a sheet of black and punched a hole and added ribbon.
Second, I glued to a card front with background paper.
With some doodled ink pen edges.

And finally, added to an 8x8 scrapbook page of my husband and nephew.
Stamps: 100% Happy store set from Unity (both the ferris wheel and stars stamps)

Unity Sketch 27

It has been over a year since I posted something!
It was Unity who brought me back, I just had to enter the monthly challenge,
I used the Sketch to make this card.
The stamps are Unity's Insightful Meadows.

Friday Friends with Flair- Feathers!

I made this card for last month's Unity Sketch challenge, and then forgot to post it!!
Oh, well, it works for today's Unity's Friends with Flair!
I used Feather Flight stamp , and the sentiment from All Smiles (Itty Bitty).
And I made another with My Mind's Eye paper and stamped the Feather Flight feather again, and then stamped off a second time.

This is for Unity's Friends with Flair. This is one of my favorite Unity sets: Insightful Meadow.
It is stamped in navy blue ink, and sponged edges in a tea dye ink.
The patterned paper is MME.

Friday's Friends with Flair

This was created for my parents anniversary last month. Our little stamping group got together and had fun making cards, stamping, talking and eating. And I kept saying, "Mom don't look at this card, I love it so much, I will save it for your anniversary!" It was hard for her not to look at it, when I kept oohing and ahhing over it. LOL.
I used my fav new set from Unity, Feather Flight and some older paper from Cosmo Cricket, Earth Love. And the ink is my latest go-to ink, Memento, Potters Clay.
This is for Friends with Flair today, over on the Unity site.
